Odt. 18, 2011

Yeah! new look at my house and didn't spend  a fortune. Paint from the restore (to cover the burgundy wall statement I had to have when I moved) was close to the color green I wanted.  $3.00 for a full gallon.  One chair slip covered in a burgundy fabric, finished.  Now I need to work on the other but more like upholstering than a slipcover. so I am thinking it over. How to best tackle it. 

All in all a fresher look for me.  Even left a spot for the Christmas tree. 

At some point in my life I want to have "matching furniture in the living room"  or at least better complimenting.  I am on the look out for a really soft leather club chair.  One that my feet touch easily, and that has an ottoman.  Not the huge overstuffed look, or the back cushion is sewn to the back frame, or the modern looking ones.  I'll know it when I see it.  Maybe one day a leather couch but I have only seen one or two that appeal and they are more than I would pay.

I plan to start learning Microsoft Access, all the job postings I look at seem to deal with database so I figure it couldn't hurt.  I just hope that I won't really have to load their software because then it probably won't happen.  Microsoft software is always so expensive. 

I think I may have found a whole other line of the family tree but I need to get on ancestry.  Don't have full membership anymore.  The State Library helped all libraries have access to it but only in the library, but I am pretty sure it doesn't give me access to trees. Which makes compiling information so much easier when it is already in that format.  Oh well will have to look.

Anyone seen the movie Five Pennies?  Danny Kaye and Louis Armstrong plays in it.  Talked about it last night.  One of my favorite movies.
