Here is one for the books. Last week I needed to spray the garden for bugs and asked for the bug killer, it turns out it was weed killer. It looks as if the pumpkins, zucchini, cucumbers and squash are a no go. Some of the pumpkins that are already orange may survive and some of the tomatoes look to be okay. I didn't spray them as heavily. Says a lot for labeling doesn't it.
I am looking foward to having my granddaughter on the 10th for the weekend, just waiting for confirmation of my schedule. Pray that she handles being up here away from her mom, she doesn't really know me, I haven't seen her since she was a baby.
Had the baseball team here on Sunday with about 40 people. It turned out pretty well. Aaron gave us a scare though. He seems to have the wierdest injuries. He was playing football and got slammed in the temple with an elbow, lost some vision for awhile in that eye, then later John held out his hand as Aaron was coming at him and basically clotheslined him right in the adam's apple. Anyways later in the evening, he was really white and sick to his stomach. Scared me when he called for me, because he rarely shows any sign of pain or calls me. His eyes were okay though and he is back to being Aaron. Thank God.
John is working all week making the big bucks. Which is good because having him on our car insurance starting in Sept. will raise it by $700 every 6 months. We pay about that all year for three cars! That is with good grades can you believe it.
Time to go work in the yard.
Have a Blessed Day
