Such an enjoyable day yesterday. Surrounded by people in my life that I love and care about, gives me such a sense of balance. The kind of day you read about, idyllic simplicity.
Let's me hope for my future, because hope is really a key to living a happy life. My daughter discussed what she had learned about demographics of Detroit, low graduation rate, reading levels....I asked her why she thought it was like that....to me it fundamentally leads to hope. Hope for a future often those in extreme poverty don't see. Never want to live without hope. It's terribly empty.
